For example, with the purchase of a set of 8 place settings we would charge shipping for 1 item instead of the regular cost of shipping for 32 items. That reduces the cost of shipping this set to most locations in Canada from $149 to $21, a cost saving of 88%!

Shipping this same set of china to locations outside North America is also possible but we would need to calculate the actual cost of shipping. Once we receive your order, we would send you a separate invoice for shipping that could be paid by credit card or Paypal. This would still provide a significant saving for shipping because of the quantity of items.
