Description
This pattern displays glamis heather on white embossed china. Trimmed in gold on the scalloped rims. This pattern seems to be idential to the Glamis Heather pattern, also produced by Hammersley. There is a Hammersley Balmoral mark on the underside.
We’ve inspected these items to ensure that they are in excellent condition, but will reinspect them before packing them for shipping. Basically, we inspect for the absence of:
- chips,
- cracks,
- wear to trim and/or pattern,
- fading of colours in pattern,
- dulling of the sheen on the glaze,
- crazing (fine cracks of the glaze), and
- surface scratching from utensils.
When an item is described as being in excellent condition, it means that they are free of any damage except for minor surface scratching from utensils that could only be noticed in reflected light.
Shipping
In order to be ecologically responsible we use recycled materials (boxes and packing material) to pack your parcel. Once you have paid the order, we ship the parcel within 24 hours. In terms of shipping, we have been very satisfied with Canada Post because they deliver on time. We are also proud to report we haven’t lost even one of the thousands of parcels shipped through them over the years. Within North America you can expect the parcel to take between 5-10 business days.
You can choose to use another shipping company such as Fedex or UPS. If there is any additional cost you would pay for any additional cost of shipping when switching carriers.
If you prefer picking up the parcel in person in Montreal, we will be pleased to accommodate your request. We would manually refund the shipping cost charge in the “Checkout” of the web-site to your credit card or Paypal account. Please inform us of your intention to “pick-up” in the comments section of the order.

We guarantee that you will receive the items purchased in the condition described. We do several things to ensure this:
- carefully inspecting and describing the dinnerware,
- carefully packing the china,
- choosing a reliable shipper,
In the unlikely event that the items are damaged in shipping, we offer the options of a refund or replacement of the item(s)
Care of your china
For all patterns trimmed with platinum or gold, avoid putting the dinnerware in the microwave because it would cause sparkling, impressive not not good for your china! This sparkling of the trim would cause permanent stains or wear of the platinum or gold.
